Remember what we said in the editorial that began the last issue of > kill author?
“We won’t be getting an accompanying blog or tumblr, even though we’re told we should. It’s nothing personal, but in the two months between issues we like to disappear and work on the next one without too many distractions. We just don’t keep our fingers on the lit scene pulse. If you want to know who’s written what and where you can read it, there are many other places that can tell you those things, and who know what they’re talking about much better than we do.”
Looks like we lied.
We didn’t, though. We just changed our minds. We still stand by all we said about not bringing you frequent updates on the latest and greatest from the lit scene, because others do that kind of thing much better, much more thoroughly than we ever could. But we’ll be posting occasional news here about > kill author, about some of our contributors, things we see around the web, quotes, articles. A good old-fashioned blog like folks used to write back in 2005.
And if you’re waiting for Issue Six to appear — which we hope you are — we’re aware that it’s running late. Sorry about that. We promise it’ll be online very soon (and it’s going to blow you away when it gets here).
