Killing the slush

Posting a link to this on the blog of a literary journal could be seen as shooting ourselves in the foot. Or the head. We don’t care. Jim Hanas has a lot to say in his provocatively titled post Nobody Likes the Slush Pile, Let’s Get Rid of It, and even if you don’t agree with all of it — which we don’t, because we’ve got some doubts about whether the impact of what Hanas is saying has really been thought through — there’s a lot there to talk about.
