Listen to author

At the talk I said, “The dead don’t die—they look on to help”. Channeling their story is just a narrative that can’t exist. An attendee asked about the secret, merely the motif of it, and I could really only say “huh”: it wasn’t as much of a question than a great statement that met mine in the middle. Then I started thinking about the scars of these secrets, the new material that forms to contain the safety in the power that we want. In the manual I always use “we” rhetorically, as I was trained. But I was also advised to disregard the echo, to listen to what is right in front of “you”.
